Bungalow Blueprint Plans 1908
Product InformationThis Craftsman-style plan is unique for its Asian/Swiss Chalet aesthetic. This Swiss Chalet style bungalow has both wide eaves and a lower pitch gable roof. Placed "rough side out" the exterior of this house was finished with wood "fir" siding and wood fiber plaster. On the inside of the home the walls were finished with Douglas fir. Although attractive it looks modern and also vintage. Inside the house the plan looks a bit more formal, the front entrance opening into a reception hall with a dining room on one side and the living room, graced with a box-beam ceiling, on the other. In its day one could spend, $2400 exclusive of land to built this little beauty in Seattle. A nice house!
These are free old vintage blueprints that were scanned or taken from old magazines (late 1800's - early 1900's) for you to use and not to be confused with plans I sell on this site that I have drawn myself (2006) a short while back (see below how to find these).
